OCA's Ice Cream Afloat

OC's first ice cream boat. A full ice cream stand built on a pontoon, loaded with frozen treats, snacks, candy and ice-cold drinks. It serves the dock at West OC Harbor, cruises out to the boats, and posts up right where you're already hanging out.

The Scoop

A REAL ICE CREAM STAND.
On a boat.

We took a pontoon, built an ice cream stand on the deck, hung a pink and white awning, and packed the freezers. Then we sent it out onto the bay. That's the whole idea, and it's even better than it sounds.

Ice Cream Afloat serves the dock at West Ocean City Harbor, then heads out to where summer actually happens: the boats on the bay, the beaches at Assateague and Hoopers Sandbar. No boardwalk lines. No soggy walk back. The ice cream comes to you.

The bayside beaches where pontoons nose up onto the sand and wild ponies wander the dunes. We pull right up to the beach, so dessert is a ten-step walk from your towel.

HOOPERS SANDBAR

OC's favorite sandbar hangout. Waist-deep water, rafted-up boats, good music. Then an ice cream boat pulls up next to you, and the whole sandbar cheers.

Two hot pink ICE CREAM flags fly off the roof. You can see us coming from way down the bay.

Wave Us Down

From the sand, the sandbar, or the back of your boat. If you wave, we're swinging over.
